Three ways to look better naked: 1. top up your partner's drink 2. dim the lights real low 3. choose better looking parents Three ways to FEEL better naked: 1. top up your own drink 2. unfollow all the instastuds 3. dont take advice from ridiculously hot guys who attribute their good looks exclusively to 'hard work' or 'personal grooming'

To be fair I don't think he was saying the three ways mentioned in the video are 'exclusively' the only ways to look better naked.
@anotherrobmckay8 жыл бұрын
yeah youre right, but that part wasnt really directed at kyle. i was just making a more general point which is that good looks are not an achievement or some kind of personal triumph over laziness and ill discipline, they are just an accident, the result of winning the genetic lottery, and when hot guys pretend otherwise it is kinda douchey. thats all.
@tedfaun21598 жыл бұрын
To a degree I agree with you. Personally i'm attracted to guys who make a bit of an effort. I'm sure there a lots of people who don't care about that too but no matter what ticket the genetic lottery hands you, you can still work with what you have. None of what Kyle mentions in the video is to do with genetics. Of course, you may be someone who either doesn't care about that personally and / or doesn't look for it in a partner... and that's great too. BUT I also think it's fine to say that you do care about it as well. Too many people are quick to jump down the throats of people who do and that's not ok. Also, people who do make an effort with their looks do just that... make an effort. It's not a passive process unlike not making an effort. Whether that's hours lifting weights, enduring painful cardio sessions or even taking that bit more time to find clothes that suit you. It's not a case of putting down someone who doesn't choose to make that effort, but when you're putting effort into a process, I think it's a good thing to sometimes celebrate that effort. Looks is not the only goal. Health is an even more important reason too but it's all connected. Of course, you don't want to throw your achievements in another person's face... arrogance isn't good in any setting. Just a case of being mature enough to know the difference and not to put anyone down for any reason when it isn't necessary. Kyle was so obviously not doing that, and I think it's pretty uncool to see people posting comments to try and put someone down when they literally do nothing else but try to brighten up their viewer's day for a few minutes.

I want to believe that the actual message of this video isn't just to "get buff and get hot" but to consciously honor your body with the healthy options that are within your reach! Taking care of your body out of self-love helps to build confidence over time, and that will ultimately lead you to recognize and value your beauty every step of the way, not only at the finish line (which there really isn't one lol).

Guys, while I can see where the disappointed viewers are coming from, you also have to remember this is kyle's channel and his opinion. Clearly he values his physique and he works damn hard mentally and physically to achieve it, and he should be proud of that. This is how HE feels that he looks best when naked. And all he is promoting here is exercise, cleanliness and healthy food.

We are beautiful just the way we are We don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart. We praise an image, we pray to be sculpted by the sculptor. We don't see the light that's shining, deeper than the eyes can find it. We don't see our perfect, we don't understand we're worth it Or that beauty goes deeper than the surface. Maybe we've made ourselves blind... "You are beautiful just the way you are You don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart." That video was recommended as I was watching Alessia Cara's Scars to your beautiful, perfect timing.

You know, I am very body-positive. I do believe that you DON'T HAVE TO lose weight, go to the gym or diet if you don't want to. It won't make you love yourself more, because you have to do it way before getting in shape. I love myself, I love my body, I respect my body, THAT'S WHY I want to maintain hygiene, look what I put inside and exercise. And this is MY decision and my of body positivity. Kyle should not be criticized for making video that doesn't say "How to look better naked? Take off your clothes, you're beautiful blablabla". We got it. But I am concerned about the way I look. And I am okay with it. That's why I enjoyed the video and took advice from you. Thank you for posting that. And a message for my favorite people - overly-sensitive people.There wasn't a single word to trigger ANY body-shaming thoughts in my head. He didn't say that "you have to be ripped" or "you have to diet hard". He should not be ashamed of his body as well. So please, listen his actual words before trying to be a smart ass and trying to diminish other people's opinions. A person can be fit, take care of himself and be body-positive.

Hey Kyle, your Ted Talk regarding your journey to sobriety answered a lot of questions I had about myself and my substance and alcohol problems, I too am a photographer and an artist and I quite like your self portraiture. However I was hoping in a video you could address the stigmas around body image in the gay community. I feel strongly that I won't succeed as a photographer or as a person or find romance unless my body is, well, perfect. I don't feel I have a body image disorder, I DO truly feel like looking at people who are successful in the contemporary world are, well, crazy fit. Maybe you could address some of these issues from a holistic and researched standpoint. I know it is not your job really to be or address anything other than who YOU are as a person and the amount you do share about yourself is quite admirable and brave, however I would like to hear about what you think in regards to this topic because it affects a lot of people. THANKS KYLE UR AWESOME

Also, many people who think they aren't made of the stuff to be very attractive actually like their look a lot more when they either lose or gain some weight, drink more water, change their diets or sun exposure. There are many many ways to change your look. I have never met anyone who wasn't surprised by their face transformation losing weight to take them under obese or overweight levels.

I know Kyle means well... I just think this perpetuates an exclusionary and body-shaming view, that only one type of body "looks better" and is beautiful. By definition, if you would "look better" if you did something (crossfit, remove certain body hair, etc.), then you would "look worse" if you did not do it. Let's move forward, shall we? Let's be more mindful of the language we use (especially if we carry ourselves like activists and charitable people) and not internalize and then perpetuate the very same toxic societal standards that once may have tortured us.

3 other ways to look good naked: 1. do none of this 2. take your clothes off 3. you are naked. and you look good. (i understand this was sponsored and you had to include the product, but there are other ways that don't put negative connotations on body types that aren't yours)
@Γιάννης-η1ο8 жыл бұрын
Justin Brown I totally agree with you, yet it's also proven that we humans do have a stronger hormonal response on the "fit type" because healthy body means healthy children (looking from the perspective of evolutionary advantages). And knowing that it makes you feel more comfortable in your body when you're fit (so step 1 and 3). Plus a healthy lifestyle is generally speaking a good thing. And Kyle's just talking about the looks... Exclusion and isolation because of body shaming isn't justified by anything but promoting an unhealthy body type also isn't a good way to handle the situation. You should always be comfortable with your body and it's about you! But taking that as an excuse of being overweight doesn't quite do it. And yes, I know there are a lot of other reasons for being overweight or differing from the "ideal" body and it's definitely not only about the looks, I respect someone with "cosmetic deviations" as much as I respect the fittest man on earth. Yet, the goal should be a healthy life, shouldn't it?
@justinbrown10548 жыл бұрын
u don't have to justify ur attraction to fit people to me lol....it's not that deep my dude.
@ruthless6858 жыл бұрын
Promoting healthy living isn't putting a negative connotation on anyones body types, its highlighting a lifestyle EVERYONE should follow. You don't have to LOOK like Kyle, but you should LIVE like Kyle. His tips are the same thing any sane doctor would tell you, a balance of exercise, body, skin and haircare, and a healthy non inflammatory diet. Being fit is about health first and foremost, the looking good naked part is just a bonus. We constantly coddle people and tell them they are "perfect just the way they are" when they are not, its not natural or healthy to have large quantities of body fat. It leads to a multitude of health problems, puts more stress on the healthcare system, raises prices for everyone. Its all interconnected. Allowing people to live unhealthy lives is irresponsible. Telling them its ok to be fat is irresponsible.

People default on issues of social awareness, but the truth is that our own mental health requires that we are constantly evolving our mindsets. Associating working out with beauty is problematic. HOWEVER, psychologically, programming ourselves to associate working out with mediation and health, rather than beauty, will cultivate more meaningful and long term habits. Being critical our mindsets is first a mental health issue. We need to stop equating critique to "PC Bullshit".

Great video, and congratulations, you look great, but I really do wish some people out there, would learn to be happy with who they are. Personally, I find a person who keeps themselves in reasonably good shape, isn’t obsessed with their body , but is a good honest person, works hard, , is good to others, is a far more attractive person than someone who obsesses over themselves . It’s about balance, taking care of your mind and body, being a good person. When you go out with somebody, and all they can say every other word is the word I, and keep looking at themselves , personally, is a recipe for running away as quickly as possible.

Although, one thing irks me a little bit. *Why is everyone suggesting that one takes all the stems and stalks off from green leaves*? It contains much more proteins and vitamins than the actual leaves have. All one needs is to cook them along with the leaves. Perhaps chopping them off, and cutting them in small pieces, and start cooking them a bit before one puts the leaves in. Thanks for the video, mate. Love ya.
