Amen! We don't understand the power of being so heck bent on what we want that we can't see straight. Sometimes, we see what we want to see. Especially when we think we are "in love". I put in love in quotations because most of the time, it could be lust or idolatry. Or a mixture of both. And we allow disrespect from the particular person which displays were not even in love with ourselves. When a man wants you, he will pursue you. Period. As soon as you peep game, wishy washy, sometimey behavior, move on. You are clearly displaying to him that you have boundaries, self-love, and self-respect. Remember queens our time is valuable. I have platonic male friends who tell me this all the time 😊

Struggle to focus on you or show up for yourself? - set an alarm called “self check in” for a decent time in the day. When that alarm go off no matter how you feel, do something that focuses on you. That can simply be doing your hygiene, journaling, taking a walk, coloring, etc. Eventually, you will get tired of ignoring the alarm and neglecting self ❤️

After all of the hurt I've been through, I've gotten to the point where I have learned to let men that don't deserve me go. I used to have rose color shades on when it came to guys. I overlooked a lot and swore they were the best thing for me. Now, I know what I deserve, and I don't mind if I have to wait a bit longer if it means I'll find my king 😊
