I told both of my daughters that once they were 18 and no longer under my care, that if they do something stoopid and against the law, do NOT call me. If they want to play stoopid adult games the wrong way, they will have to deal with the adult consequences of their actions on their own. One of them crashed her car with a DUI charge; I didn't find out about it until 6 weeks later. She dealt with it on her own and learned her lesson. She is now 5 years sober and just completed a 50 MILE marathon; I'm one VERY proud Mama! ❤
