California Cop Caught with Woman in Backseat of Police Cruiser: ‘I’m Down to F**k’

A California police officer is under scrutiny after he locked himself in the backseat of his patrol car with a woman on the way to county jail in August 2023. An internal investigation into the incident found that Hair violated a number of policies and laws for his conduct. Hair’s body camera was also not recording while he was in the backseat with the arrestee. The woman told Hair she was “down to f**k right now” as he was transporting her to jail. Minutes later, Hair found himself in the backseat and unable to open the door from the inside. He was in the backseat for more than an hour before a supervisor opened the door. Hair is no longer employed with the San Diego Police Department.

Absolutely, back in the 70's (when I was a teen) we didn't have smart phones. We only had cameras on us when going on vacation, to the beach etc. And very few people had those giant video cameras that were mostly used for birthday parties, weddings etc. I was a victim of cops lies, but who's going to believe a 17 year old over a cop. My dad was a cop and even he took the cops word over his own daughters' word.

Our bodycams would be dead in a matter of hours and wouldn’t last the whole shift. I work 12 shifts and even on days when I don’t have to turn it on much, it’ll be at ab 12% battery at the end of the day. A better solution would be to somehow get supervisors to control its deactivation
