After an 8 year battle, we lost our big sister to triple negative breast cancer 5 years ago. At that time, there wasn't a treatment for it, but thankfully there is one now! Never give up the battle! Love will always keep our sister's memory alive...she also left behind two young granddaughters.

Beautiful quilt and fabric. Thank you for the reminder. I am an ovarian cancer (stage 1) survivor, going on 7 years, and I tested positive for the BRCA2 gene, so I am high risk for breast cancer. I've gone every year since my 40s (66 now), and have gotten my mammograms. Now I get an MRI once a year as well. I also have 2 sisters who are survivors of breast cancer, caught by annual mammogram, in early stages, so minimal treatment was needed. I can't stress enough to all women to get your annual checkups, and if something doesn't feel right, get it checked out.

Preach it ALL day, April! My mom just passed away on Oct. 27th of metastatic breast cancer. She battled that for 8 years. I miss her so much. 😭 💔 A week before she passed away I had a complete hysterectomy and they found stage 1 endometrial cancer...most likely caused from medicine I was taking as a breast cancer preventative. Breast cancer is very prevelent in my family, so I have mammograms and breast MRIs yearly. Save the tatas!

21 years ago my mammogram showed "an anomaly" that the biopsy proved to be Stage 2. Lumpectomy followed and five years of a pill and here I am and I still have my "girls". Thanks for the reminder. And the cute quilt!

😂purr the instructions said just as Oliver stepped up. I love when you give tips like not cutting the selvage off to begin with because they will be cut off later. My grandmother was diagnosed due to her very last mammogram. Thanks to her annual exam it was caught as it was stage one and removed by stage 2. No chemo and very light radiation. Early detection is key ladies!!!

I am on my journey. Two more weeks of radiation! 🙏💪🎀 I have good insurance, but still had to fight for a mammogram when I knew something was wrong. They claim it's because of my age 41, but it shouldn't matter how old you are! Be vigilant, check yourself, and get regular mammograms even if you have to fight for them. My genetic tests came back negative, but cancer is something that runs in my moms family. I love your "just cure it shirt". 🎀
