@@stacynonyabizz4241Thank you! It came about when I was watching LOTR and I wondered what it would be like for an immortal to be in a long term relationship with a mortal. What would it be like to watch your partner grow old and frail, knowing they one day fade from your life forever. Then I added in a dash of personal experience in the form of watching a loved one battle parkensins. It makes the story a bit hard for me to read, (I was a mess while writing it!) But it's also one of my favorites for the same reason!

One of my Corporals always seemed to have some kind of “saying” for just about any BS that came down the food chain. Our First Sergeant would always start of with Men’s you gotta be flexible, just before we got some shit news. The Corporal (out loud) would say so once again we are found, fu*ked and soon to be forgotten. Always try to look unimportant; they may be low on ammo. There’s no such thing as a Five minute fuse. Usually when we got a FNG, he would add that everything in the Army was built by the absolute lowest bidder. So who wants to take their word for it? No plan remains after first contact, Saint Murphy, Lady Luck, Karma, and the enemy always have a say……and then theres our chain of command. “If you find yourself in a fair fight, you, it means that our glorious leader(s) farked up the OP Plan. As usual….. 15 minutes prior to 15 minutes prior or you’re late.

"We stay out of that field" was sooo good. The idea that a magical, or otherworldly colony of creatures or plants would be kind for a blood sacrifice and honor borders, but act with sympathy is such a wonderful way of conveying that there is terror in the beauty, and vice-versa

I always feel honored when Agro decides to read one of my stories (Arctus2020 here). And it's an even greater honor that he included one of them in his 3rd anniversary special! Congratulations on reaching 3 years!! Your narration has always been amazing, and I hope you're able to keep doing this for many more! I wonder if switching formats every now and then would appease the algorithm from seeing your videos as "being too similar". Or, perhaps including a few bits of thematically related art (with the artist's permission/in public domain) might also make it "different" enough. These both require more effort and time, though :/

As for the painting of miniatures, absolutely go for it. I miss doing it myself. As for your skills, no one and I mean NO ONE starts off as a master. Experiment. Try new techniques often and do you.
