Hello Debbie and Tim, I'm following you from Montreal, Canada. I have watched more than ten of your videos and I love them all. You seem very friendly and down to earth people. I discovered you with your videos on Cambodia, my native country but I never returned back. Your videos bring me summer heat, good anti-depressants because in Montreal, it’s winter!🥶 I particularly like Debbie’s smile and enthusiasm. You and Tim make a beautiful couple! I would like to have your knowledge of agriculture, I am typically an urban person. That said, with agriculture, I think I will find something to occupy my mind for the coming months/years. « Arkoun chraen » for your videos! Love you and I will be following you from Montréal! 😊 Ps: as you can assume, I am more French-Speaking!

Wow, you guys have done a LOT of work. Well done. Thats a large block to work. We utterly love your Vietnam videos, we love how positive and joyous you are, always smiling. We sit with pens ready to jot down locations and hints from your travels.... and low and behold we also discover you're avid gardeners as well. Our kind of people. 😊 We brought our home on an average 900sq town block in Western Australia 12yrs ago. Sloping site, no good soil (just bleepin sand) and no canopy. 1st thing we did was terrace off yard, plant some canopy and cornered off where we wanted a veg/fruit garden and run 32 Guinea pigs for 3yrs to improve the soil and completely kill any weeds. All that good poop has paid off now as we can grow most things. After my triple spinal fusion in 2021 hubby Jeff raised the beds for me. It took awhile to get some small canopy but were slowly getting there. ( Things dont grow as fast in WA. ) The rest of out Garden has a distinct Aussie/ Bali-ish feel. Our favourites are gingers, heliconias and bromeliads. We have a pretty good Bunnings but so generic, so usually once a year travel 2.5hrs to Perth for best nurseries, like Coast rd Palms, Thomas rd Nursery to get the more unique plants ie: Black bat plant. Often our car is filled to the brim. Im planning on making my own shampoo from a Shampoo ginger. Have you tried that? And would you know which Elephant Ears are edible??? Keep up the good work, love the videos. And if your ever in WA, for a foodie/ wine holiday definitely pop in. ❤

Will do! 😊We have the shampoo ginger and will try it this year when it flowers! We didn't even know we had it until last year lol. It was just growing wild down the back of the block😁 I know some elephant ears are definitely edible but some are piousness and i haven't had time to work it out yet. I see them been eaten in Cambodia and Vietnam so i know it can be done. They look like the ones we have but I'll let you know one day 😁We do eat purple and white Taro 😋 Wow guinea pigs! That's a great idea! Your garden sounds great! Creating your own sanctuary is the way to go! Have a great weekend and thanks for the run down 🥰Love it! See you in WA one day😁

Heh Debbie, Please continue on just being yourself. Let your words flow as they will, You speak beautifully and above all ...Naturally !! I swear you could talk under water and make the bubbles sound good hehehehehe . Pay no heed to judgementalism and negatives. You are keeping it real , and thats the attraction to us wanting to see more. Its a World gone mad out there these days , So its its refreshing and uplifting to see you two guys showcasing reality as we know it.

Love watching your videos, especially as we are living here in chilly Ballarat! So many Victorians move to Cairns 🌅 how do you avoid the snakes? How do you keep the numbers down around the chooks? You've made your homestead into a little slice of tropical heaven ❤Thanks so much for your videos. We love watching them, keep up the great work 👍 😀

Good question! We don't!😱 So many pythons! 🐍We had a 4m scrub python on top of the chicken coop 3 days ago when our daughter was inside the coop she looked up and it was above her head! I can't stress enough how big and strong and volatile a hungry 4m long python is. It was as thick, fast and full of rippling muscle! It will be in a video in a couple of weeks so you can see. Apart from that it is absolute paradise 🥰🌴So happy you are enjoying the channel😁

Your town sounded like in Southern Florida with heavy rain and hurricanes during the summer months. Sharing is caring. Australia is on our bucket list and we also have a few Khmer friends who live in Melbourne. It would be fun to have a chance to visit both of you. Thanks for sharing your beautiful farm. Cheers 🍷
