I lost my step dad 4 years ago on New Year’s Day, it always felt weird celebrating it knowing he’s not here anymore. He never got to see the end of covid, he worked night time shifts to be able to see my younger brother during the day, always being tired. Worked until the day he died, all for us.

I can't even imagine what you're going through. I lost my big brother almost 3 years ago and every time I see a picture of him it just makes everything around me not feel real. It's such a shitty feeling not being able to be with him again. It feels like life isn't even real but i just tell myself I gotta keep moving forward so that I don't let the people around me down. Not to say my brother let me down in any way but I just wanna be there for my mom and family as much as I can. Your dad was such an awesome person and he was able to light up the lives of millions.
