30-06 Springfield Elk Load: Video 2 - H4350 vs Ramshot Big Game Velocity Test

I’m really pleased with how Ramshot Big Game performed today...not exactly sure why we didn’t see better velocity with H4350 but that’s how it goes sometimes. I’ll load up some 3 shot accuracy / velocity groups and go from there. I’m looking forward to seeing where we end up both velocity wise and accuracy wise. Y’all have a good one!

You gave some very sage advice about reloading and I agree with all of it. If the reloader's goal is to taylor a specific hunting load, make more consistent (accurate) ammo, or anything else, you don't have to go nuts, especially if you find that you don't like it after trying it. The only mandatory, must-have item is a good manual and adhering to it, just as you have continually said. Assemble a safe environment and go for it. For me, reloading is very fulfilling for my own reasons. It is just as fun as shooting it (in my opinion). Really good stuff, AR!

Hey have you tried INR4064? My 06 love that powder. I use it with Barnes 168 tsx and 165 tsx. Got a few videos on it on my channel.

That was on my short list of powder to use if I could find it but I haven’t been able to locate some...I’ve heard it’s a great one though.
