Make sure to build in at least 3 trips to the gym or yoga studio as part of your self care for moving into a management role. It's easier to manage stress and communicate through body language when you feel connected to your body.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciated the content. You presented everything in big sized chucks. I’d like to add two additional ways to build rapport with your team. Vulnerability & Vision. Vulnerability - Share your weaknesses with your team. If they weren’t a hindrance in your getting hired then they shouldn’t be a problem once you land the job. Let’s your team know you’re self-aware and don’t think you’re perfect. Vision - Aligning your personal ambitions with a company is a part of why you should take a job. Let your staff know your personal vision. For example, I start a new role in a new company tomorrow. My boss & my boss’ boss know that I want the same job as my boss’ boss over the next two years. I was hired because I have that ambition and vision. I want to help others (who choose) to have that same ambition. So I’m starting day 1 letting people know I hope to inspire them and I’m not perfect so I can spend the first 30 days learning.

Good stuff Roman. I’ve been in a leadership role for the same organization for 10 yrs. When I started looking for other opportunities this question occasionally came up at job interviews. Although I had many years of experience, this question caught me off guard! Your video is excellent and thorough.

I haven't heard much about them in years but googled them and sure enough, they're still going. I can't imagine how many network marketing companies are out there now. I'd never do it again, but I do have a network marketing influencer I enjoy watching.

This is a Great video! Just a question on the F.O.R.M. that you have. How would you describe in Occupation, Recreation, and Money?
@romanryder7415
@romanryder7415 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! For occupation, I'd ask questions along the lines of how long have you been with the company, what did you do before that (work, school, etc.), how long have you been in your current position, what are your job duties or what do you do on a typical day, what do you like best about your job, what would you change about your job (this could also lead to questions like if you were me what would you change to make things better). Recreation is a little more straight forward, because you're just trying to find out what they like to do outside of work and dig into that a little more to better understand them as a person and not employee. Money (or Dreams) could really be tied into occupation by just talking about things like where they'd like to be in 5 years and what they think they'd need to do to achieve that. This will help you find opportunities to develop them for future roles or maybe tell you that you should focus on developing other employees if they're happy in their current role. I hope that helps!

Remember no one is going to do thing like you and you started out not knowing everything. It takes time some times months or longer depending on the job. 😫 I look for passionate employees not just skills. I can train anyone willing to learn. 🙌

Be careful making abrupt changes right away. Remember, there is a high probability that the body will reject the new bodypart. Symbiosys, repour, and establishing trust is essential within the first 30 days.
