So well articulated! I agree with everything you covered, I think approaching anything or anyone with a firm belief that this isn't the make or break of you gets you more than half way there. we get screwed when we invest a disproportionate amount of emotion or our self worth into stuff at any stage though - emotion and worth should always be at the cause, not effect.
