Just want to point out, it wasn't "several" allegations against Saville; at least 450 alleged victims came forward, and over 200 charges were recorded.

Literally! I heard the narrator say "several allegations" and I felt like I was living in an alternate universe. The phrasing completely downplays the extent of his abuse! I genuinely do not think they could have phrased it worse.

@@mashthebananaTo be fair. Unless something has been proven, they have to say alleged. Say, your neighbor or whatever says something about you. So it’s true just because they said it? Is that how it’s going to work now? Say it and it’s true? That’s a pretty slippery slope to go down.--Not saying celebs don’t do everything un celebs do, but! there is a lot of people who will jump on anything to get their 15 minutes. 🤷‍♀️ 450 sounds like a lot.

I’ve just left a comment myself if I’d have seen this I’d have commented here instead…. Basically saying whenever his name comes up it’s different from hearing about other celebrities, it feels more like I’ve lost someone I personally knew, worst part is since the first time any of us saw him it was kind of expected that we would lose him young but as we saw more of him I guess that opinion somewhat change but either way it more more shocking in those circumstances with an otherwise “safe” creature.

Something else that fucks me up about Owen Hart is that, according to people who witnessed it, his last words were telling people to look out. @Idontwant1 2 ай бұрын
Did you know that there is a Netflix movie about Cheryl. It’s called Women of the Hour. In it they said she actually went out for drinks with Rodney after the show. And it wasn’t until after they left the bar that she turned him down. And he almost kidnapped her. But thankfully she was saved by a group of employees leaving the bar just as he was getting ready to take her. Those employees were able to give her a chance to get in her car and get away. The movie showed eventually how he was caught for raping, kidnapping then murdering his victims.

@@kerrysater157 That’s kinda what I meant. In the movie Cheryl walked out of the studio. And Rodney was standing off to the side of the building. And he asked her to go to drinks. She agreed. But in the bar he was acting extremely creepy. And when they were out in the middle of this dark parking lot. He asked her for her phone number so they could set up their arrangements to for their date that was out of town. She gave him a fake number and he busted her by asking what’s number? Is that a 4 or a 9. And she said let me see I’ll tell you. And he said what you don’t know what you wrote??? And he then said so this is how you tell me that we aren’t going out. At that point she was standing at her car with the car door open. And he tried grabbing her. And that was when the employees came walking out. He looked at her and said you’re lucky. And he walked away. She got in her car and drove away from the lot before he could get in his car and follow her. At the start of the movie it said it was a true story. I know that if it’s just bits and pieces of the truth they must say BASED on a true story . But this said A true story.

In a world full of Weinstein's, Diddy's, diddlers and murderers, remember that Steve Irwin existed. Steve Irwin was the embodyment of philanthropy and greatness. There is no dark side to Steve Irwin. He simply made the world a better place everywhere he went, enlightening and enriching everyone's lives that he touched, until he was taken by a freak accident, doing what he loved - making the world a better place. I’ve read Jennette McCurdy’s book and listen to her narrated and from what I know it makes total sense now of what she went through especially with how her mom treated her and made her go into acting. It’s so sad what she went through and honestly thankful. She retired from acting after everything she’s gone through. She also talks about Dan Schneider who she calls the creator after everything he did to her as well. I’ve watched on the set which is a documentary series about him and, everything they say about him makes sense especially with Jennette McCurdy when she released her memoir and talked about him. I met her along time ago at CAPITOL RECORDS and Hollywood. They were doing a filming for cupcake wars, and CAPITOL RECORDS Nashville was there and I was lucky to see her. I went through my face of listening to her music and watching her on iCarly and Sam and Cat, even though she retired, I’m thankful she’s happy that people like me to watch her on these shows and I still like listening to her music generation. Love is such a beautiful song and I I also like put your arms around someone. It’s the song about giving hugs. I’m not that in the country music but either way I will always support her.

Nope, I watched that episode and what happened was:> They were all seated and the KKK member was calling one of the guests that was a very large black man racial slurs, and then the large black man stood up and hovered over the kkk member repeating "your gonna get kicked" or "your gonna be kicked" in a very hostile manner. KKK guy stood up and that is when all hell broke loose. Somebody in the audience threw the chair. Oh.. I remember the KKK member pointing out that Geraldo Rivera's real name is actually Jerry Rivers, Geraldo quickly changed the subject and seemed a little embarrassed when kkk guy said that, probably true. Geraldo did apologize to the large black guy but he was the guy that started the whole melee. KKK guy said bad words but not the N-word and the words he used was not bleeped. It was a "talk show" not a fight show and Geraldo wanted to be provocative and the one of the guests was a kkk guy so what did he expect? ... oh, and they called those talk shows at the time "TRASH TV". Peppard was apparently a terrible person on the set of "The A-Team". He was previously a movie actor and his most famous movie was "Breakfast At Tiffany's". There were rumors he resented being overshadowed by Audrey Hepburn in the film (even though Hepburn was meant to be the star of the film). Dwight Schultz, who played "Howling Mad" Murdock in "The A-Team" spoke about Peppard at a Q & A. 1) Peppard hated doing the show but needed the money and no one else would hire him because he was difficult to work with. He saw the show as beneath him. 2) When Schultz first met Peppard, George introduced himself by saying "I'm George Peppard, and I am not a very nice man". Schultz says that he found that a very weird way to introduce oneself, but George lived up to it, time and time again. He said George also said "People have accused me of beating my wife. It's not true, because if ever hit her, she wouldn't be around to tell about it". 3) He confirmed the stuff about Melinda Culea and Marla Heasley. 4)Peppard HATED Mr T. He resented T for barely having any acting roles before doing the show, but being the most popular star of the show, and got more fan mail. He resented T getting more money because Mr T was huge in the 80s and had his own line of merchandise as well as "A-Team" merchandise, thought T embarrassed the show by being involved in wrestling, (and having Hulk Hogan guest star in a couple of eps). There was also some racism involved. Peppard and T had physical fights on the set and wouldn't even speak to each other. Dirk Benedict (who played Faceman) had to pass message between Peppard and T because they were no longer speaking to each other outside of scenes. Peppard demanded to leave at 5pm every night and would drive off on the dot. Schultz said that he and Benedict shared more scenes because they can film them after five and George had gone home, and T was in his trailer, upset over his latest fight with Peppard. Robert Vaughan was brought in the last season because he had been George's best man and they thought he would calm Peppard down and make him work with T, but even he couldn't control him. 5) Peppard got worse the longer the show went on, and everyone on set hated him. 6) No one from the show was allowed to attend his funeral, as George told his family he didn't want any of them there.

You can't be serious! Matt Lauer, #1 darkest moment? When I was a kid growing up in the 1980s, I saw a man put a 357 Magnum in his mouth and blow his brains all over the wall behind him. On live TV. That image has haunted my dreams for decades. I see a few others in the comments here have mentioned that incident as well. The drake bell situation goes so much deeper. He knew the victim as a minor, took her to shows, allegedly assaulted her multiple times and refused to say so in the court- which was on zoom by the way. He would not stop shaking his head, LAUGHING and even mouthing 'this didnt happen' with the biggest smirk on his face. BECAUSE the decrepid judge did not understand how instagram worked (the platform he used to groom) he got away with the minimum charge- After that got arrested for trying to take a minor over the boarder... Listening to the victim, seeing the instagram messages and his emittance to some charges just shows he never had remorse. I hated this case- not enough justice

Rip Taylor was a mean, heartless SOB. Here is my firsthand account of his actions: I was 18 and volunteering at the 1984 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Everything was going fine as Rip was doing his act. As soon as he was done and the camera cut off, I hear Rip tell his lackey, "Get me away from these f*ing kids" I was in shock as he walked right past me. At that moment I decided I was done. I put my donation basket on a table and walked out. Lucky was canceled because it was too much like real life. Horses are not fully developed at 3 years old, yet alone the 2 yrs old when they start training. A lot of horses have these same injuries every single year.

Jenny Jones Show ~ Talk about leaving out a HUGE detail! The straight guy was cool about the reveal on the show. He was cool about it after the show was over. Taking his Out & Proud friend to dinner to discuss the situation. At which time he made it clear to him that he wasn't interested in having an intimate relationship with him. But also mentioning he was fine with continuing their casual friendship. Things seemed good.... Until the next day when his friend left him a literally obscene letter in which he graphically mentioned all of the perverted things he wanted to do to him, and that he wasn't taking "No" for an answer. Making it clear that a casual friendship was definitely not what he wanted. It was only after that his straight friend unalived him. Bit of an important detail.

I just looked it up: it said the guy left a note on his door and when he realized it was from the his gay friend he went and bought a shotgun, went to his house, and shot him. Not sure where you got your information, but thank you for letting all us women know that is totally acceptable to resort to violence against unwanted advances by a man.
