I think in the vein of wanting to video to be a love letter, or any emotion, the footage you get could subtly point to that. For instance, new growth on plants could be good for if you want to capture new growth in your life, the joy you feel with your pets could be best captured by trying to film their joy, like when they roll in the grass or scratch the ground up, or shots of you sitting, petting, playing etc. The spiderwebs and bugs are interesting, but they convey kind of a different emotion, maybe the passage of time, hiddenness, slow but steady progress, lack of common acceptance (since most people don't like bugs much) etc. The lone chair I really liked, so that could be good if you wanted to capture the feeling of being alone, or perhaps making changes to your life that have separated you from you were in the past, or if you sat in it with your dog it could be like it's just you two against the world for that moment, sharing something private and special. Just some ideas, I'm working on my own videos and it's hard to get just what you want, I am really excited to see your progress, I think it's just gonna get better :)

Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! I really appreciate all the ideas you’ve shared-there’s so much depth in the way you see things, and it’s incredibly helpful to look at my footage from these different perspectives. The idea of capturing new growth through nature, or showing my dog’s joy, really resonates with how I want to express certain moments, and I hadn’t considered how different elements, like bugs or the lone chair, could convey such unique emotions. It’s a great reminder that subtle choices can have such a big impact on the mood and feel of a video. I can already tell that thinking more deeply about the shots I choose will help me capture more of what I’m trying to say, and your advice has given me a fresh way of approaching that. I’m really excited to experiment with these ideas moving forward! And I can’t wait to see what you create too-I know it’s going to be amazing. Please make sure to let me know when you have your first video up!

Yes we want the 2 lines! I will say the only thing that didn't fit was the spider web it felt a bit random. We saw you take the shot but I don't think it fit in the final cut but including the dogs was really nice!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate your advice-it helps me a lot. I see what you mean about the spider web and will keep that in mind for future videos. I’m glad you liked the shots of the dogs. Thanks again for your input!

I think you will find that those days that you are walking in your neighborhood and 'trying to make it interesting' may be your favorite days...you will discover so much in your quest!

That’s such a great perspective! I hadn’t thought of it that way, but you’re right-there’s always something new to discover, even in familiar places. I’ll definitely keep that in mind on those neighborhood walks. Thanks for the encouragement!
