FIT
-Size 28 Rise 12" Inseam 29" Waist 30"
-2 sizes bigger for an oversized look (haven’t tried my size, so can’t say if they’re true to size).
-High Waisted, Straight cut, with a hint of tapering
AFTER 30 DAYS:
*They haven’t stretched out much
**The fabric has broken in more to my body and has a better fit because better drape.
**So so so so comfortable. Wore these all day, no problem, super effortless and breathable on hot days. Great jeans for summer.
***Love the pocket placement in the booty. Gives a sort of plumping perky effect.
***I didn’t feel like the fit was super flattering cuz it was sort of in between where it was roomier but not like boyfriends where they sit on lower hip drawing the eye to the hip. Added width to my waist instead. So didn’t always feel very feminine or sexy.
****But the look of the jeans is so cool it almost counter acts that, which we’ll get into on the next two topics.
FABRIC
-100% 13.5 oz Cotton Denim
-Handmade in Japan
-Hand distressed in small batches
AFTER 30 DAYS:
*The denim got broken in and more soft. Which made it more and more comfortable.
**LIke I said, so breathable. Wore these on a hot humid 90 degree day and had no problem, no sweaty hot box and felt breezy.
**The vintage style button fly did not get old, I wanted to show that off all day long.
***The wash is still what I am mainly obsessed with. I feel like this is what elevates the look of the jeans. I felt very “cool” in these jeans, so it counteracted the fact that the fit wasn’t super fitted. And with the distressing down the middle of the leg it was flattering the leg because it gives them a slimming look.
****The distressing in the booty is my favorite, emphasizes all the right areas. :-)….You know I can’t do a jeans review with out getting graphic about how the booty looks.
FUNCTION:
-5 pocket jeans
-Selvedge denim (sustainable and better quality)
AFTER 30 DAYS:
PRACTICALITY:
*Because of the comfortable fit and the breathable fabric super practical go to jeans because they’re are no constraints to wearing them
**5 large deep pockets so make for easy utility purpose (and as a Mom to a 3 year old that is key)
STYLE:
*The wash of the jeans was so neutral and so easy to pair with all colors in my closet
**The effortless vintage aesthetic elevated most anything I paired it with.
***Loved cuffing them because I could change the inseam, taper and give a bit of detail. Made it super easy to pair with pretty much any pair of shoes. Didn’t hit a road block with shoes at all.
CONCLUSION:
*Would I suggest spending the money on these jeans? 100% yes! Because of the overall elevated aesthetic and style they add to a look and the effortless comfort of them they make for a very easy go to pair of jeans. Especially for summer if you’re not a huge shorts fan, like myself.

Confession: I heard you mention selvedge jeans on another or maybe a couple of other videos. I thought you were saying salvage, as in recycled, reclaimed, etc. For for a sec I even thought you'd misspelled it in the description of this vid. 😊 So, I looked it up and read around. Not everyone is into deep indigo and high contrast personalized fades, some people just want high quality denim in a lighter color and soft without months of wear. Also, let me break it to you, when you do go and wash your pants...they become washed selvedge. Must get expensive throwing pants away after washing
