We do -40 in Winnipeg in Winter, its not even a joke, so I get where you're coming from sis. That plug in car is a NECESSITY. Great video by the way! All the best!

I live in Wisconsin and there have been times where it’s colder here then Alaska 😩. But I’m glad you and your family are adjusting well!

I am glad to see you and your family are safe from that earthquake. Thank you for the actual image of Alaska. I mean we see it in T.V., but I just didn't understand it until now. Is it easy to drive on? Also, you are an awesome mom for doing that with your little girl! That is something she will always remember. ☺ Keep up the good work!!

awww thank you! With the right tires it's pretty easy, just have to careful when turning because it can be very slippery.

Alaska is beautiful and I envy you for being able to stay there. I am just the type of person who loves the ruggedness of the mountains and snow compared to the tropical serenity. Thanks for the vlog!

This was so amazing to see😍 How is your sleep pattern working? I heard sometimes it’s dark for days...
@chronicurls6 жыл бұрын
Sleeping is good. It's "dark" pretty much all winter but since Dec 21st (the shortest of day of the year) we've been gaining daylight 7 minutes per day! I'll address that in the next vlog probably!

We were stationed at Ft. Greeley AK (my mom was Army) that was 30 mins from Delta Junction and 1 hr from Fairbanks. I was a child, and I can’t imagine living there as an adult! Kudos to you! 🤗

Thanks! Surprisingly the kids love it, so when they get older and complain about the cold I'll have proof! lol

You should make a spare car key to keep your car running and you can lock your door when you go into a store. I like this video! Is your husband in the military??
@chronicurls6 жыл бұрын
such a great idea! I've thought about that on occasion but it's never until I'm already at the store lol And yes he is!

How do you manage to keep your hair moisturized in that weather?! I’m complaining about Alabama’s winter this year, but -20 sounds miserable lol

Still trying to get the routine down but so far I cowash a little more and shampoo a little less, also been doing hot oil treatments. I don't really get outside often, just to go in/out of school and the store!

I am homeschooling my 10 year old daughter and she is learning about Alaska right now due to the land bridge beringia. I am of Native American descent and I told her that I would teach her something super cool about the world that involved our ancestors. Is there anything that would be interesting about Alaska that you like that maybe would be interesting to her?
