Right with Scotland, as an Englishman myself, do appreciate the widely differing accents of Scotland, particularly between East and West coasts. Stayed a while in Glasgow (wonderful city). Took me a while to get into it but very rewarding when I got it. Most wonderful people.

These are dialects, not accents. People with many different Scottish accents speak the Scots dialect.
