When i was 8yo (1998) i got a bootleg sega megadrive console called Nikita that ran NES games. It had its own cartdriges (3) inside the pack with like 8 games each. Was fun for a 5 euro worth device. I got a 2nd one looking like a ps1 that Camé with a pistol because there was Duck Hunt in it, it was pretty awesome to shoot at the TV lol

This sure brings back a lot of memories. I never had the luxury of owing a legit console when I was young, but my parents did buy me a knock-off from a local night market, with games similar to this. That was during a time when PS2 was already in the market, so you bet I didn't enjoy it as much as I should but I was still grateful for it. It broke down after a few months and I think I got my first xbox a few years later... and that was after xbox 360 was released. Oh, what a wonderful childhood.

You're lucky. Back in the olden days the Atari 2600 was the hot console. Our dad got us a Magnovox Odyssey instead and it sucked ass. He meant well though and got us an Atari 800 a few years later. We weren't rich at all and really couldn't afford to shell out $600 for a computer but he got it for us anyway.
