Today I wanted to talk about pretty much every LICENSED anime game on Nintendo Switch. No, not games that LOOK anime - games that are literally based on popular anime. There's a LOT!

Theres a few like Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-Gon Breath, Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed, Yohane The Parhelion: Numazu In The Mirage, Yohane The Parhelion: Blaze In The Deepblue, Attack On Titan 2 (which is a bit different from final battle) and if you count RWBY as anime they have RWBY: Grimm Eclipse and RWBY: Arrowfell

Adding to the list (with English localization): - UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves - Macross: Shooting Insight - Gundam Breaker 4 / SD Gundam G Generation / SD Gundam Battle Alliance - Super Robot Wars V / T / X / 30 (crossover series including many mech anime / manga IPs, predominantly from the 80s and 90s) - Doraemon Story of Seasons / Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom - .hack//G.U. Last Recode If you start counting games aimed at a younger audience that were never translated / released in the West, there is: - Anpanman switch games - Pretty Cure games - More Doraemon games (including educational stuff such as kanji and maths drill games) Then there are the franchises that started as "chara" goodies in Japan, got adapted to anime, and ended up getting video games as well: - Sumikko Gurashi games - Nameko games - Hello Kitty and other Sanrio chara games After there are all the games that aren't technically "anime games" but more like games that were adapted into anime, but since that includes a LOT of popular JRPGs, that would be a long list. Perhaps an idea for a future video: games that you have / like that have become cross-media IPs.

There's "Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match" on Switch that's pretty fun. Arcadey tank battles, and it did get an English version for Asia. Price came down from its high so it feels affordable and is on the eshop in that region for cheap as well.

There is an Overlord game. Called escape from nazarick that is a metroidvania.

Pretty sure there are some Gundam games. At least released in Japan.

I love Storm Connections. It changed the combat for the better to be more chaotic and faster, which IMO is better than Storm 4. Also, while techincally not an anime game, I have to add Crystal Crisis. It is a crossover game between many niche games (Binding of Issac, Cave Story) and plays as a comptetive Tetris. But, two of the characters in the game are Osamu Tezuka characters; Black Jack and Astro Boy.

Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet was a lot of fun but it crashed a number of times on the Nintendo Switch for me. Definitely fun enough for me to put in 100-200 hours though.

Deedlit in wonder labyrinth is a amazing Metroidvania, only problem with it is that it’s on the shorter side.

For nintendo switch you have two Precure (Magical girl Anime series) games: Nari Kids Park: HUGtto! Pretty Cure & Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure Hirogaru! Puzzle Collection. Both only have Japanse

Awesome coverage! There must be like a dozen Dragon Ball and Naruto games on DS. I have a few but know very little about them. Would be cool to see them covered at some point.

I really liked onepiece unlimited world red. Its not groundbreaking but its a fun game with a semi original story.

That Tsubasa game is very, *very* good. Especially if you love football.

Agree. Much better than FIFA. The game is so crazy. It doesn't give a shit about fouls and let you shoot tigers as special attacks.

I just need a new One Piece arena fighter for the power fantasy aspect idc if it uses something similar to the storm engine or is a revamped burning blood or even grand adventure style game I just need it 😂

The Dot Hack series is on a wierd spot. Yeah, the first title of the franchise was an anime, but it is more like Digimon and Fate; multimedia franchise that doesn't specsically belong to any spesific media such as anime, games, etc.

I’m an avid dragonball fan I’d say, I have equal love respect and hate for the series to be honest🤔 Granted I’m only semi familiar with the series. Witch of the dragon ball games would you recommend playing on the switch? Of the first 3 I mean🎉 if I could only get one Are these supposed game critics even legit ? Why would you trust someone else more then yourself 🤔

Kakarot is great if you want an action RPG. FighterZ is also good, but unless you are going to dive into the online, skip it. Especially you'll have to learn the game from the ground up and somehow compete against players that have years of experieince. And I wouldn't recommend Xenoverse 2. It is okay, but not worth it at this point of time, especially when Sparking Zero exists.

@@DaakkuuYRS What’s this Sparkling Zero you referred to🤔 Dragon ball Z: Kakarot was actually the one game I felt more drawn to. So I’ll just pick it up as I found it for about $25 for the physical. I love fighting games but was never that good with them so I think I’ll pass on fighterZ thanks for the advice and information. ( besides I’m not a big online player and I don’t have the Nintendo switch online thing so) Xenoverse 2 did kinda interest me…. However I’ll heed your advice and just go with Kakarot Thanks for the video and list of games a lot I never heard of before. Have you played any of the fairy tale game on the switch? I was curious how it runs🤔 2 other questions Is one of the Sword Art Online games better then the others on the switch? And choosing between one of the one piece games do you have a favorite? That you would not hesitate to recommend to play on the switch Agin I greatly appreciated your response
