Thank you Sharon! ❤️ I’m definitely on a high! I’ve loved Wrapaloc tools from the first time I used them back in 2014. I was throughly pleased with the make up look. It felt just right. It was fun catching my first reaction on camera too. Thanks for tuning in!

@@ibyl Does the wrapaloc give the same curl as pipe cleaners?
@ibyl5 ай бұрын
@@XxJiazuMiStarZxXHey the Wrapaloc creates a uniform spiral curl. If wrapped with only one layer versus double wrapping then you can have the elongated spirals from the beginning and you don’t have to wait until your curls drop or loosen after a couple of days. So both Wrapaloc and pipe cleaners create similar looks but from experience the actual tool is safer to use, studier, you can style with the tool, it’s just as light, works with all lengths, more uniform spiral curl, and the tools can be reused. I’ve had the same pack since 2014. Used when my hair was much shorter and I can still use with my hair much longer.

To each his own … but I keep mine cut because of the work involved, just keeping it clean and lint free is enough to keep it chopped 😃… but your locks are beautiful

Hey Theresa! Thank you!!❤️ Yes completely understand. Longer locs are more work but I’m still enjoying the ride at this length and not ready to rock them shorter just yet. I keep pushing back my I’m going to cut them shorter date.

Hi! I’m new and I came across a few of your videos. Have you always had sisterlocs? Or did you transition at some point from regular locs to sisterlocs? I ask because I’m considering switching to microlocs from my traditional locs I have now. You look beautiful!
@ibyl5 ай бұрын
Hi! I've had Sisterlocks from the beginning. I do not think traditional locs can be transitioned to microlocs. Sisterlocks have a specific parting grid so you would have to start on loose hair. In order to start Microlocs you would need to cut or comb out the traditional locs and as long as you have at least 3 inches of loose hair you can start over with microlocs or Sisterlocks. I've heard of splitting individual locs. After the loc grows out at the root your traditional locs can be split, but I believe that process would be too tedious to do for the whole head. The loc itself would still be thick just the base where it was split would have less hair. Hope this helps answer your question.

@@ibyl thanks! Yes that does sound very tedious lol! Idk I’ve been feeling like cutting it here and there but would probably still end up with locs again albeit a different kind maybe if I do decide to make a change.

@juspeachy7 If you’re up for it and the thought keeps coming back, go for what you want. Consider the maintenance though in having smaller locs. Do you retwist your own locs? Retightening is usually a little longer than doing a retwist.
@juspeachy75 ай бұрын
@@ibyl I usually have them retwisted at the salon.

lol!! Right! It was definitely a natural glam and it felt like me but those brows had me completely in love. The make up artist picked the perfect colors and just enough to complement me. Lippie, lashes and all.
