Continental makes the best quality belts. Good choice there. Thanks for showing us the plant....and you are correct...it may look daunting to a newbie.....but the process is very simple. Great video as always

I love the sound of a screw in the morning! lol. I had a temporary air cooled chiller on a trailer in front of my building for nearly a year while my hvac plant was reconstructed, and you could clearly hear those compressors from across a busy 4 lane blvd mid day. Total screamers!

Great Video. Thank you for sharing. What is cooling tower, Does cooling tower work in winter ? Does cooling tower generate heat in winter ?
@subcoolHVAC6 ай бұрын
The cooling tower works year round here, it removes conducted heat (transferred to water) from the condenser barrel and in this tower conduction/ convection and evaporation complete the heat transfer.🔄🔥💦💨

Hi Subcool, Can you explain why big boxstore like Walmart and Home Depot use rooftop package units. I counted 9 units on the roof of Home Depot. Won't it be easier to use one chiller than multiple rooftop units. I would assume a single chiller would use less electricity than multiple roof units. Thanks....
@subcoolHVAC6 ай бұрын
My best guess comes down to cost to build and maintain, RTU’s are more practical for service leaving room below for more merchandise and uninterrupted business. Thanks for the question 👍

Thanks for your explanation, it makes a lot of sense. 🙂

Stupid question here 🤚🏽. What heats the building?
@subcoolHVAC6 ай бұрын
They have electric heaters in the ductwork or at the VAV’s depending on the building application. AC is used mostly here. Thanks for asking!
@Menik5596 ай бұрын
That is so cool! I can't wait to move up to these monster units one day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
