You can shiny hunt the wild Pokémon inside of the Battle Pyramid in Emerald's Battle Frontier. Those are uncatchable naturally because you can't find Pokeballs inside of the Pyramid, but with the pomeg berry glitch you can bring in your own items (such as Pokeballs). I have a full reaction video of the Kingdra and also of the Charizard from the Battle Pyramid, feel free to check those out for more information! 😄

In Gen 2, shininess is determined by DVs. With the right DVs, your Pokémon will be shiny. Since Gen 1 uses the same DV calculation as Gen 2, this also works retrospectively with Gen 1. So you look out for the "Shiny stats" you calculated beforehand and once you see them it's a shiny (with the standard 1/8192 odds). There are several good guides here on YT for Gen 1 shiny hunting if you're interested! Also feel free to check out my Gen 1 Playlist for more Gen 1 shiny content!

Yeah, you can! With the pomeg berry glitch you can bring in your own items, such as Pokeballs, and make the "uncatchable" Pokémon catchable. You can find more info on that on my full reaction videos of Kingdra and Charizard!
