Welcome to Bogota Airport, the gateway into the beautiful country of Colombia. Rich with luscious jungles, diverse wildlife and one incredibly busy airport, Colombia has always been on my list of places to visit one day. BOG is the busiest airport in Latin America in terms of movements and second busiest airport in Latin America by the number of passengers it welcomed in a year, just behind Sao Paulo. Bogota is home to one of the oldest airlines in the world, Avianca and their fleet of 787s which fly regularly between Europe, North America and other large cities in South America.
This video was filmed from a number of different places around the airport back in April of 2024. Bogota is to this day, the hardest airport I have ever spotted/filmed at. The main spotting locations had restricted use because of road works and the runway direction wasn't the most favourable for videos. However, despite these challenges, I was able to get some fantastic footage to share with you all with a follow up film shoot pencilled in for later this year!
