This is a lovely little barre! It covers all the elements and it's correctly focused. An adagio with rond de jambe en l'aire can be done on the stretching musical interlude. And you are doing so well.....I hope you keep it up, it is working for you. Your lines, flow and musicality are really coming together! Love.

Jana, thank you for this barre. Recently, my knee was injured (probably the meniscus) and while I wait to have the MRI, the doctor advised doing a light barre--no center work :-( . This was extremely helpful. :-)

I had a torn section of meniscus removed from my left knee a little less than a year ago and also have sole arthritis in it as well. I can get to a grande plié usually without pain or discomfort but I am glad to know I'm not the only one with knee issues.

Sorry to hear about your knee :( I feel we are lucky if we can continue to dance and only make minor adjustments for our bodies as needed! I don't know if you've seen it, but it one of my Corrections videos this year I discussed how I adjust my grand plies to still get the muscle effect without going all the way down!
