30 Minute Frame Saw in the Woods

Showing how I make a frame saw in under 30 minutes while in the woods with some basic bushcraft tools. I did spend an extra 10 minutes flattening the sides of the frame saw, and removing the bark, but it was functional without having to do that.

Well its quick to knock up, but will take it up to 11 when I make one to carry with my kit, that will have mortice and tenons😲

Nice logical approach into making this, you Make it look easy. I like the rugged rustic look you shape. I am preferring this style of saw to my bow saw, only thing I struggled with that’s the weight but then I could probably do with the workout Fine job sir 👍

Thank you Bat. Yes it felt a bit top heavy the first couple of cuts, that's why I stripped off the bark and flattened it down a little. Reckon it could be refined down to a nice smooth 3/4 inch while leaving the rough log shape of the outline still.👍
