30-Minute Perfect Salisbury Steak Meatballs

Solid prep, made it tonite. Only big switch is that I like to oven roast my meatballs in a lasagna pan at 400 for 15-20 min to get that char. Only thing that matters is that you MUST finish the meat in the gravy for 20-25min to get that soft, flavorful finish. Had leftover rice, fine. Egg Noodles, fine. Smashed potatoes, fine. Heck, french fries, fine. Do try this prep friends, do cook from scratch, do save money, do eat better, and do thank this man for his ideas.

@@msbee5183 I saw your post and had to reply. I'm in my late 60's and "HAVE" walked from Sant Barbra, CA to Boston Massachessetts! It took me over 8 months. I did stop at times to work for a week or two just for pocket money but alway's continued the journey. I was 27-28 then and that memory will go to my grave with me! Eating this now.. VERY good! My sister requires gluten free so I used a product called Porq instead of panko. I started prepping last night and tucked my chopped garlic into avocado oil and used that oil in the recipe today. I also used 1lb beef and 1/2lb pork with 3 cups of beef bone broth. Slapped it over some mashed potatoes. Holy smokes! Thank you for the recipe!

My 18 year old setpson is a carnivore, and works road construction on the other side of the country. Tonight was his last dinner with us for a while, and he wanted Swedish Meatballs. I found this video, and the only real changes I made, is after sautéing the sliced onions, I turned the pan off, and then tossed in the garlic, so it would be a little more raw when it started cooking into the meatballs. I also used smoked beef tallow for my oil. At the end, I added flour and stirred for 10 minutes before adding my home made beef stock, so that after 20-25 minutes, I had a bangin home made gravy. My own kids went nuts too. I'm definitely pulling this one into the rotation.

I know it sounds crazy but when I make these as meatballs or Pattie’s I take a half an onion into a food processor and mix it in with worstershire, little salt, pepper, garlic powder theeen… a pack of McCormick dry Aju mix and dry mushroom gravy mix, throw in a handful of breadcrumbs and mix the meat up with all of it.
