Ok, I’m a junior in high school, so I still have time to figure this out but I want to be part of a hand crew and my main question is what if you have apply for a job outside of your state? It’s hard to explain my thought process but I hope you some what understand, could you make a video or even a short video about how to approach finding a job out of state.

Awesome, I love that you are planning ahead! I can definitely make a video on it but I would start by getting into the Wildland Firefighter Facebook group so you can start to network and be apart of the wildland fire community. Also, go onto USAJobs and look for jobs on there, just to get an idea of what it looks like and play around with it to get comfortable with the site. Do you know if you want to work for a Federal crew or a contracting crew?
