Daniel, thanks for your great tutorials. I have two requests. 1) More player quote designs 2) Soccer designs Euro 2024 and Copa America are gonna start soon, so I think it's idea to add soccer in the mix.

I appreciate the requests! I haven't yet done any non-ultimate sports graphic tutorials, so gonna have to think about that one and whether I branch out to other sports... Quotes are definitely worth exploring, can definitely plan for more of those in the future

Nice Banner, Want to see more like vibrant color Banners for photoshop. Also Do you think we can achieve the same design from Adobe Illustrator?

would be tough (at least for me) to make this same thing in illustrator just because of the blending that's going on, but honestly I'm not advanced enough in illustrator to make that call!

Once you clip an adjustment to a cutout And then copy that adjustment to another cutout and another Is there a way to link their settings so that if you go back and change one setting it affects all three cutouts

Great question. If it's smart filters, I don't think there's a way unless they were all grouped into the same smart object (which you could do by selecting multiple layers before converting for smart filters) and you just had one smart filter going over all of them. For adjustment layers, the way to do that would to just group all the cutouts into one folder, then clip the adjustment layer to that Folder so it affects everything in that folder

What canvas size do you start with here? For cutouts, do you go from RAW in lightroom to PS/CR, or lightroom to JPEG and then into PS to save your cutout psd's? I feel like sometimes my JPEGs from LR, and then into PS are not always the most detailed. and maybe it's my canvas/dpi. I up'd it to 2100x2100/300dpi but maybe that made it worse for resolution

I pretty much use 1080x1350 in all of my videos, which is the standard vertical dimension size for Instagram The cutouts I use are typically exported as JPEGs from Lightroom (resolution varies, depends what the photog exported and shared it at). If you're exporting JPEGs from Lightroom you can control what dimensions they output in, if you're exporting the most high-res versions they should look great in a 1080x1350 document Pretty sure DPI doesn't matter unless you're printing (I use 72 pixels per inch), it's really just about the total pixel size of your canvas for digital stuff. So if you're sticking with digital graphics for social media or web for example, you shouldn't need to go much higher than 1080x1350. Phone wallpapers are a little bigger. And then for full printed poster designs you'll want to make sure you're in 300dpi with whatever poster dimensions you use (11' x 17', 12' x 18', etc)

I tried your ratio method I couldn't figure it out for PC are you using mac
@realdanielcohen6 ай бұрын
I am using mac, though I'd think those free transform percentages would work the same for PC? Unless it's like a specific setting that needs to be turned on (mine shows the %s by default)
