Man I am introducing myself into photoshop in order to make a difference in my content creation for social media. I am focussed on sports, specifically grappling/bjj or mmm content. If you have any tips or even any instructional or course you could recommend me that would be crazy!

Be extra careful when making adjustments to the organisations brand colors. In fact don’t touch the Hue slider at all on the players kit. Unless you’re just doing it for fun in a non-commercial way.

But didn’t straighten the fence make the angled goal post more noticeable?
@realdanielcohen
@realdanielcohen 7 күн бұрын
yeahh sorta! I think straightening is somewhat subjective, like whatever looks best to you to straighten the photo in reference to in the background. I could go either way on the goal posts for sure

Great instruction on technique, but at arm's length the poster is illegible, except for "gameday"...
@realdanielcohen
@realdanielcohen 7 күн бұрын
Yeah totally fair, I wanted the image to do most of the talking in this one, with people being able to zoom in (if digital) or look closer (if printed) for the info. Feel like with "Gameday" graphics, the title tells most of the story in just hyping the game

Could you provide the assets for practice
@realdanielcohen
@realdanielcohen 7 күн бұрын
I've been hesitant to provide assets since I don't really want people to replicate my designs EXACTLY-I think it's better to learn the intention/reasoning behind certain steps rather than following step-by-step methods to replicate an identical design. So ideally want people to gather their own assets and maybe try a similar approach, but also finding arrangements/compositions/techniques that work for them

Awesome video! When it comes to turning color images to black and white, how do you decide between using a black and white gradient vs the black and white adjustment layer?
@realdanielcohen
@realdanielcohen Ай бұрын
great question! I feel like it's personal preference, I generally prefer gradient map because creating the contrast makes more sense to me with different shades of grey. I will use black/white adjustment sometimes directly on an image, when I'm planning on blending it in anyway and don't care too much about the amount of contrast (or am ok with the image as-is, just want a quick greyscale version)
