Dorka's story was very touching. If she had been adopted by anyone who didn't know how she was trained, she wouldnt be this happy. She's exactly where she's supposed to be. Dogs with jobs can lose their sense of purpose if they're no longer engaging with what they were trained to do. Scavenger hunts is such a fun way to circumvent this!

I'm 57 and a widow now, and my mother passed away at 47 in 1997, and I'm glad I had that time with her even though she tried to ruin my wedding day! Enjoy your day!

Do you approve of newly hatched male chick's being ground up alive, gassed, drowned or smothered to death because they don't lay eggs ? My hubby’s bomb dog had a hard time when she retired. She was very play focused and I had become disabled and at home all the time, so I hid her favorite ball both inside and outside the house, which she loved. She became my baby. Though she wasn’t protection trained, after meeting an unappealing individual while on a walk, I trusted her to protect both of us. His first dog, a many thousands of dollar Shepherd failed (given to a family) and a friend found KC at the pound. She was a hunting mix and the other guys gave him a hard time until she turned out be the best of the best, probably due to her nose. Love my current Bassett rescue/companion but I suspect he would sell me for a cookie!
