I never tire of watching these type of films, for there to be credible HEROES there have to be loathable Villains, to be put down. I got bullied at school, it never goes away, but these films help the therapy. These are just amazing sequences put together so skilfully and shown with such panache. Thankyou.

That's not Robert McCall. Denzel is an excellent actor, but Edward Woodward was Robert McCall. Denzel was a young soap opera (St. Elsewhere) star when the real Equalizer was running.

I remember watching the original TV series as a child, and I avoided watching these films as I never thought anyone would be better that Edward Woodward. The truth is, now I have seen them, Denzel is not better or worse than Edward Woodward, he is just different & plays the role a different way. I believe he is a more than worthy successor in these movies to Edward Woodward in the Series, he plays the part outstandingly well and they are very well written and the actors are pure magic. Very much a fan of Denzel Washington now, where I hadn't seen any of his films before these 3 movies. I'm just sad he won't make a 4th!
