The guy that plays Louis is such an incredible actor, he’s portrays Litt iconically in this series. He can be serious, angry, funny, and it all feels like it’s based in the character he believes Louis to be. I only appreciate it now that I’m older

He would have paid for him to go and still learned under him at the firm. Louis admires talent. He knows it needs to be honed He would see Mike’s love of the law within 5 minutes and his talent.

Mike and Louis would have been a formidable duo, and to some extent even better than Mike and Harvey. Mike's quick thinking on his feet cancels out Harvey's, but Louis' financial wizardry is unrivaled in the show. Combine that with Mike's photographic memory and quick wits and it's game over to the opposition.
