Thank you! ❤️ Yes, I am Haitian. No one said anything about my hair, really. I’m not the first with locs in my family. I didn’t have to go through it. People were mostly intrigued by the size and the price. All the comments I got about the hairstyle were positive. The people who said things said they could never pay that much or spend the time.

Thanks for the info. Your hair is beautiful! What does it feel like? I've felt about 3 or 4 heads of SL's and, they all felt dry and really hard. I have 4bish hair and its naturally dry and wirey. I know that you can't use any products for the first year or so and I'm okay with that however, I don't like want my hair feeling dry long term. Is dryness just a condition of sisterlocks or is there a way around it?

Hi! They feel soft enough to me. I really don't know how to describe it. They feel like twists or braids on natural hair. I don't feel like I need to moisturize them. When they're too soft, it's a a bad sign. Like they're gonna unravel or something. I don't have that mindset that my hair has to be soft. But my locs truly don't feel dry to me.

@@AnnyKeyz I understand what you mean about not wanting them to be to soft. I wouldn't want that soft either, but don't want them to be really hard. This is helpful. Thanks

Your hair is beautiful! I’m curious - when you first got them installed, did you braid your hair each night before bed? I’m 6 weeks in and I feel our hair textures are quite similar.

No, I didn't braid my hair at night back then or even now. I braid and band on wash days, that's it... Sometimes I do a braid out for fun.
