Just remember, I was at this camp where we got to work with one of Linsey Sterling’s teachers. She was passing out fiddle music and one of the violas in the back didn’t get a copy, so the student teacher(who’s a (pretty amazing) violist) was trying to tell the teacher(but he was sitting with the violins at the time). She saw him pointing, and thought he was making a viola joke, so she just went off on him as he shrunk in his chair attempting to defend himself...(and you’ll usually find a cello to defend you)

I remember my music teacher once is explaining to the class what a tremelo was, and what it looked like. He showed us a picture, which had a bass cleff at the start, and pointed to the section where the tremelo was meant to be played. We spotted that it had the word "solo" above it, and queried why. The teacher then said "viola players will always play a tremelo here, because they'll shake when they see that word!" I couldn't comprehend the horrible joke. I died a little on the inside. Anyway, violins FTW!
