bought one, I have 3 Bose sound docks it only worked on the newer one of the 3 . Did not work on the ones that have the 4 pin wire on the back.

I got one similar to this gave to me, but it won't work on the plain A1256 iPod dock. Was hoping it would so I could use it on my car. Can't get any audio out of it through the line out jack on the back of the dock. Connects to any phone I tried it with though.

Thanks I have a Sony stereo iPod dock clock radio because smart phones are doing away with headphone jack I have now will probably be last one have headphone jack I convert it to Bluetooth clock radio because it's 10 years old still works new ones don't last

Thanks for the video. I bought 2 of them. But none o them are working. The light flashes, it connects to my device, but no sound comes of of the box. Do you know what could be going on? I tryed it with a BOSE and a BEATS dock station.

if you got one it needs an adapter for power which is made by scosche and it will give you sound on the bose soundock if it does not power you will need this thing. I have a question. The controls of the remote does work, but do you know or the controls from a dock does work as well? I want to build this in, into a car, and wants to know or the buttons on a steering wheel are working as well? Does it support AVRCP?

hm. I wonder if this will work in my car. it came with a 30 pin already installed and i have converters from 30 pin to mini USB with a cord to plug in the headphones but didn't seem to work. maybe if I plug this in my car will thing it really is an ipod and actually play it

I wonder if this will work. My car came with a 30 pin aux cable already installed. I've used several converters that go from 30 pin to mini USB and still nothing works, not in ipod or aux mode. might give this a try! I have an ihome anyways so either way I get something out of it

Why not just use an adapter to connect the IPhone directly? Bluetooth uses much more battery power. Is it about using a gadget for the sake of it?
