This is my song with my son. I never gave up on him and he beat his addiction…we beat it together. We attended your concert in OKC together back in 2006 and he went backstage and got me a pick from your stand in guitarist due to Justin’s broken leg. Literally my most favorite possession and memory with him. Thank you for that. To the parents of addicts NEVER give up on them because they are still in there and need that love to pull them out of the darkness.

I'll be honest. I've only known Jared Leto as an actor, eccentric method actor, and never once listened to his music. This is genuinely the first time I'm hearing him belt out a long lasting note. I thought he would be so so, similar to how some actors (The rock, Oscar Issac) are ok. But Leto is pretty damn impressive. Clearly I've been missing out.

"Interpretation"? Umm, it's his song :P
@samverdes19152 жыл бұрын
@@ThinkCriticallyNow Most people don’t have idea of what interpreting music is all about, they even think the word interpreting is wrongly used as they mistake it for translating other language hence I believe you need to educate yourself on the term. Music interpreter is also the person who sings the lyrics and plays the chords. I hope this will help you understand.
@ThinkCriticallyNow2 жыл бұрын
@@samverdes1915 When speaking about music, the word "interpretation" means the artists spin on the song. If that were the case here, it would be Jared covering a song using his interpretation of it. As it is his song, any version he sings it in is his, if someone else sang it, it would be their interpretation. Maybe it's you that needs to get educated. Glad I could dumb it down for you :)
@samverdes19152 жыл бұрын
@@ThinkCriticallyNow NOPE, you haven't dumbed anything down for me my friend. What I said was totally right, please ask somebody else's opinion, maybe a music teacher will give you the right lecture on the subject and you will believe him then you will learn something new. Please also refer to Google on what a Music Interpreter is?. Answer: The interpreter of something such as a piece of music is the person who performs it. Jared gave a great musical interpretation, a great performance of his own song(*of course, I know it's his), which is never the same, always varies reason why in the music world you call it AN INTERPRETATION, no matter if it is or isn't his own song as both cases apply.
