I bought the Soundbud Slim about 9 months ago. They still work great. I even got into the shower with them around my neck by mistake and they came out soaked but they still worked perfectly after which was a surprise !! I highly recommend Anker products

They kind of have the same waterproof rating as an Apple Watch, so you would be fine stood under the shower until you start applying soap!

The older Anker Earbuds are rated ipx5 meaning it's resistant to water jets, there is a newer model called the same but it says "upgraded" so you can differentiate on amazon, as it has 10 hours play time instead of 7, charges much faster, and has ipx7 rating which means it's submersible in water

JBL T110BT are very similar to the beatsx and cost $40 lol. They sound really good for the money, they also sound a little better then the Sound Buds slim plus which I also have.

I doubt that. Even the headphone jack version, the JBL T110 sounds just awful. The soundbuds slim plus are much clearer.

I paid £23.99 for these off Amazon and think these are great value. I listen to tunes through them and it sounds okay to me. Not as nice as my old Seiheisser or AKG Y50s but these earphones are very inexpensive. Perfect for use cycling or answering a call whilst driving

I had two pairs of wireless beatsx and after a year of using them they've both stopped working. Charging issues lots of posts on it and unless there within the one year manufacturers warranty you'll need to pay to get them repaired. I'm going to try the anker's thanks for the review!!!

Thanks Max!!! So, I just got my Anker's Slims on sale on Amazon for $21 a few days ago. In fact, I just checked and they are still selling for $21. They are amazing for the price, and I agree (so far) that the wings are not needed. The thing that bugs me is how we are such sheep and still insist on having that little B to confirm who we are. Don't get me wrong, I have done the same in my day, but over $100 difference, with the Ankers having almost as good a sound as Beats (truth in commenting -- not crazy about Beats...too much bass typically). I am assuming the folks at Anker are making a profit, so can you imagine the profit on the Beats! Hmmmm, I own Apple stock....never mind, by many many Beats!!! (OK, OK...buy the Ankers and put the $100+ in an index mutual fund...thank me later.)

MrTipsandthoughts naw...these new beats doesnt have too much bass on it. The first generation of beats was pure shit. But right now im fucking with them. And they're the greatest InEar Headphones I've had so far and trust me, I tried everything from Bose,Sennheiser,Sony and House of Marley. HoM were great but they fell out my ear like every two seconds and thats so annoying. Its an absolute joy to walk around with those beats x.

F. Lashby have you heard of anything that's suppose to be coming out in the near future that could beat the beats x. I just bought a pair and honestly I kind of feel like I got ripped off for 150$ plus warranty i'm in them for 180 total. To me they're not very loud and bass is lacking alot. I was thinking of returning them and looking into something different maybe jaybird x3s but I never heard the quality on them before either. Idk I'm kinda having buyer's remorse with these.

I had the first generation uplift earphones from HoM, they sounded magnificent, but they did not sit in my ear, I bought the second generation and they sit in my ear amazingly and are amazing with noise isolation. The problem, they aren’t loud enough for me, have less bass then their predecessor (in this case a bad thing) and overall are an inferior product. So tomorrow, I’m going to JB-Hifi to buy myself the Beats X

Did you test the slims with the iPhone? The beats will use the W1 when paired with an Iphone, but go lofi with other devices. Like wise, iPhones will be lofi with the slims. I would compare the beats& iPhone with the slims paired with an aptx capable device if you want to talk about sound quality.

The newer version Slim+ is far better than beatsX and I believe it's because it comes with Aptx and that does improve sound quality. BeatsX has this exaggerated bass which is kind of annoying.

yes they pair up very well with my macbook. I use them for work, long conference calls with Cisco Jabber IP phone. excellent for that, no one complains about my mic quality and the volume levels of my voice.
