John, the different colored lamps indicate the rarity of the loot you got. For example: Common is white, ultra rare is yellow, rare is purple, etc. Happy to help. :3

The lamp changing color probably means what rarity it is so if it is uncommon it will be blue. If it's a legendary then it will be yellow

female cop is actually crazy good btw you may have to wait slightly longer between shots, but you blind and prevent the slasher from moving for 6 whole seconds. If you know what you're doing, that's way more than enough to absolutely disappear
