£30 Temu Budget Fishing Challenge (Rod, Reel, Line, Lures)

In today's fishing challenge we're using all Temu app gear including rod, reel, line and lures!! ALL FOR £30!!! But will this gear hold up to the challenge??
I feel I just can't get enough of this challenges and I hope you guys are enjoying these too!

Have you guys ever bought any cheap Temu gear??

I’ve bought lures out of the “bargain bin “ but never reels . When it comes to reels I believe you get what you pay for ( up to a point ) . I try to only buy reels with aluminum frames . The graphite frames just don’t last

@@zombiebitefishing I’ve had some “budget” reels but they just don’t last . I fish a lot and I’m not gentle with my gear lol . Bargain bin baits can be hood as long as you swap out the hooks and split rings

​@Oldbasshole haha mine last because I use them sporadically, most of the time I use my SLX's. Definitely, even branded lures, I have a couple of Abu Garcia Tormentor jerkbaits and the hook just bend super easy. BTW how's the fishing over there Patrick??

@@zombiebitefishing last weekend was solid . First 2 bass on Sunday were a 4 3/4 and a 5 on a Spro Rat . This morning was a dink fest but I was getting fish so it’s all good ! Hopefully tomorrow will bring some bigger bass . The fall bite should definitely be picking up soon with dropping temperatures.

@@zombiebitefishing have no clue 😂. Tried my own budget challenge and ended up spending & £60 on Temu gear. Was just to fish the Forth and Clyde canal and never even had a bit after a reel switch up…

£60 is a decent budget, I got quite a few packs of lures and a decent combo on my £50 temu challenge! Always fun doing these 😁

Great film - the rod looks nice and the lures certainly worked! A shame about the reel, but for £30 for the whole lot, it should get someone started.

Thanks a lot buddy! Yeah the rod and lures are pretty decent. The reel I was expecting to be bad but not that bad 😅 but for 15 or £20 there's decent reels there. As you said it should get someone started without a big investment!

Thanks man…they’re decent for the price,can’t remember what I paid now,but didn’t expect to catch one that big….no complaints about the lures from Temu….shame about the reel tho

@andydonnelly135 yeah there's some good lures there, totally worth the price! I've caught a 90cm pike on a 2cm AliExpress lure 😅 yeah the reel was bad, worth the good laugh though 😆
