Was out fishing the hybrid feeder yesterday with 2mm pellets and 8mm on the hook. Loads of carp where i fish, my son had a nice 6lb common on the float with corn, but all i could catch were bream. Big bream, but just bream!!!!! Lol. Thanks for the videos though Carl, stay awesome. Cheers. Just to add. I tried the guru speed beads and found my hooklink kept falling off even when pulled into the bead. Might have been a bad batch but the clips had a gap and was big enough for a 0.18 hooklink to come off. Have switched to the Preston bead which has a small tube coming off the back which fits into the hole on the guru feeders, and had zero problems.

Ciao Carl from Italy. Awesome and very helpful teaching fishing video especially concerning CARP, and so relaxing too. This method feeder rig looks incredibly successful in the pond of England, I will have to give it a try as I normally chuck my pellets or different baits by hand in the lakes or rivers here in Italy, and catch one or two large carp or sometimes large bream with a corn rig or boillie rig, but it looks like you catch far more using this specific bottom feeder, Amen! God bless you buddy and your successful KZbin 'Fishing Tutorial' channel!!!

Certainly interesting and informative. You certainly have a fish portfolio to be proud of too. The method feeder kit is a great idea. If you read this comment ?? Thinking back about times gone by ? There seems to be a new angling phase / direction 🤔 ?? The method feeder seems to have replaced the open end feeder and the cage feeder ?? What are your thoughts 🤔 on benefits or advantages ??. I used to back in the day fish on the match circuit, so had many rod's, a couple of quiver tip rods i built myself, using existing rod's that i had ,the shortest was only 6' more a wand than quiver, but boy did i have some fish on it , very discreet indeed and opponents did not know what i was catching. Could go on for hour's sorry. Cheers Les.

Some great tips there. You mention reel sizes. Can you please do a video about different reels and lines to use. It would be great to understand as someone who is new to fishing. I really enjoyed the one about rod selection, so would be good to hear about reels.
@craigwebb40123 ай бұрын
If your on about method feeder reel sizes best to use either a 3000 or 4000 you won't need anything bigger and line fast sinking between 6lb and 10lb depends on what size fish are in the lake etc
@ThisOldPanda3 ай бұрын
Method feeders are fantastic and once youve got your bait consistency down its really not all that hard. The place i go at times gets so active it feels like youre throwing the hooks into the mouths because they take the bait that quickly. And if you want a fun little rod i bought my 7yr old son an advanta stalker rod (around 6ft and 1.5lb test curve). Its so soft that every fish becomes a playful fight. Honestly. Id recommend a method feeder to anyone who enjoys a fish but struggles seeing the float, doesnt want to set up bite alarms or just wants an easy say with some action. Get a bait runner reel and youre away for the day. Plus the bait is something you can keep for a period of time (if you dont mix it all) and just have a random few hours somewhere without the need of popping the tackle shop for maggots. Especially if you get banded hooks for some pop up pellets.

I love fishing the method, I love it later on in the session usually the bites ramp up, Can I ask a question, so the other day I was fishing with my grandson and he caught a 7 to 8 lb common, I helped him de hook the fish I then noticed he already has a 2nd hook sticking out under his mouth, so I then put my glasses on and proceeded to try and remove the 2nd hook, sadly I had my fingers in his mouth and I could see it had obviously been in there quite some time as his skin inside the mouth had grown over the hook and the bottom underneath all that was showing was the eye of the hook, I tried but I couldnt get it out, any tips please if something like this happens again, I had to leave it in and return the fish as I didnt want to cut open his mouth thanks.
