I was very fortunate to meet Ms. Ferrell. She did a small movie during a writers strike called Good Bye Miss 4th of July with Lou Gossett Jr., Mitchell Anderson and Roxana Zal. I worked for the catering company who got the contract. It was a local restaurant. She had a small part - I think as the postmaster. She came for lunch after the rest of the cast and crew one day and invited me to eat with her when she saw i was about to eat too. She could not have been kinder. She let me ask a bunch of stupid questions about her time on LA Law. She was complete opposite of Berta - which is what makes her such a great actress. In my opinion she was more important than any of the other characters except maybe Charlie. But even then, she made the show so many times.
