Kelsey Grammar mastered the ability to be an extremely effective physical and situational comic wile also effortlessly being an excellent straightman. To be able to carry a show for 11 years (and several years as a supporting character) both grounding the comedy of the show and being a comedian of the show is a monumental talent. There were some brilliant one liners on Fraiser, I loved them all. One of the best Sit Coms ever.

Niles was the best thing about the show. I loved it when he showed up at Frasier's house. You just knew he'd say something funny right away.

That bit where Niles is ironing his pants and ends up setting them on fire was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I laughed til I cried.

You missed the greatest Niles episode of all. The one where he and Frasier discover La Porte d'Argent. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, watch “Door Jam” Season 10, Episode 11. It’s also one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. If you’re a Niles fan, satisfaction is guaranteed. 🥂🚪
