Hi Rob! I know that I am late to comment to this video, but my KZbin queue is long as heck. But I had to chime in, to say that Remender's Uncanny X-Force was the very first tangible Marvel comic I ever read, as a non-englishspeaking/non-US person that used to struggle to find any recently released Marvel books until the late 2000's. Long time listener, first time caller here. I love your content rob, and I'm glad you are doing a more in depth look at secret wars (the original videos are what made me a fan in the first place), but I can't help but miss the more somber, serious tone of the original videos. It gave Hickman's writing an heir of importance and gravitas. I think in the end, this story is deserving of that; at least the core elements of Reid trying to fix something that is both broken and unfolding according to it's intended purpose at the same time; and Doom, who actually accomplishes Reid's goal, albeit in a twisted fashion. At it's heart this was a story, a character study of two titans of comics history, and what made them tick. Plus it has a helicarrier of world breakers, so there is that too.

I have been binging your content for a few days now, I LOVE how in depth you go with the stories, side stories, spinoffs, relevant tangents all of it! If I could point out one thing that may drastically help viewers know the story line without needing to rewind 10 times, include a quick visual timeline of the story arc. Ex: Issue #1 >> Tie in #1 & 2 >>> issue # 2 >>> issue #3 >>> Tie in # 3,4,5, >>> Issue #4 etc. Could be alone, but that visual aid i feel would help give a mental image of how the story is supposed to flow, orrrrr if i want to impulsively buy every comic i can while you tell the story its easy to have it all in front of me. Love your work regardless, still gonna buy issues if i like them just a thought

5:01 God King Doom meant to say "summon my horse" but bit the inside of his mouth mid-sentence and accidentally said "Thors." This inability to admit that biting the inside of your mouth, causing it to swell up so that biting it again becomes more likely, is a totally normal thing that happens to everyone , is the sort of hubris that always leads to Doom's downfall.
