Good tips on how to drive a FWD car. Some people don't know the difference when they buy a new car that has a different drivetrain than what they are used to; and they end up getting into a messy situation when driving.

It could be the Prelude ECU tune and camshaft profile did not match the T2W4 gearbox. From my recollection the CL1 Euro R is always on vtec when you upshift. T2T4 - 3.285 - 1.956 - 1.344 - 1.034 - 0.812 - 4.266 LSD T2W4 - 3.285 - 2.090 - 1.481 - 1.071 - 0.812 - 4.266 LSD

Vtech not for Speed but for saving fuel . Actually Vtec is Viarable Valve Timing VVT Mitsubishi use Mivec other brands used VVT. Viarable Valve Timing for saving fuel. VVT has 2 cam. when low speed small cam be used. When high speed bigger cam be used. air intake get more air for combustion
@d15z1sux2 жыл бұрын
Depends what application of VTEC, different Honda engines have different versions of it. H22a, b16a, b18c has 2 cam profiles. High and low, it allows you to run a high cam profile for power while keeping low end drivability with the low cam profile. D15z1 has the economy VTEC-E which is just switching between 12 and 16 valves for economy.
@firdauskamaruzaman67142 жыл бұрын
@@d15z1sux VTEC cannot increase horses power. too increase horses power you need add Turbo. the bigger Turbo more horse power n torque.
@d15z1sux2 жыл бұрын
@@firdauskamaruzaman6714 You need to do some reading. A VTEC engine will always be more powerful than the equivalent engine with no VTEC. A turbo engine has a lot more power potential than a VTEC engine, but a turbo is not necessary to make an engine more powerful. It's just alot easier and a more efficient way to increase the power of an engine hence why it is seen alot more now.

@d15z1sux2 жыл бұрын
@@firdauskamaruzaman6714 yah that's variable valve timing, but VTEC in it's performance application is variable valve time and also lift. You need to look at the application it is being used, is it a Honda jazz or a Honda type R. There's a big difference in the way it's being used there, don't just look at your text book. Look at real world applications. Have you actually driven the different VTEC and seen how they work and what is the difference in fuel consumption, power and performance despite they have similar capacity. D16y4 vs b16b, f22a vs h22a. Don't tell me h22a and b16b is for economy lol.
