I worked at Charlie Brown tyre and exhaust fast fit garage over 30 years ago!! We sold the exact same jack as this from the retail shop for around £8.99 so yes it most definitely could be over 30 years old! Great video thanks

This is better than new. Zinc coating was cool to see, really lifts those parts up. Also the restored drill was put to use. You cannot stall that baby easily.

I've got the exact same jack. It jacks up then drops very slowly. I suspected that the oil seals are going on the ram. After watching this video, that's all I'll be doing. I don't have a zinc or acid bath or any of the other cleansing and sealing baths. Yours looks fantastic though, I must admit. It looks like I'll be investing in an O ring kit. Thanks for sharing the video, great job by the way.

Brilliant job Martin. These little jacks are nice and light and really handy for just doing a quick job. It might be a cheap one but why waste it when you can do your magic for very little cost and save it.

I would have been so tempted to paint it a strange colour, like pink or purple, then 'mates' who borrow it wouldn't forget to bring it back. It did need the front wheels doing the same as the back wheels, either way around.

Ese tornillo es el regulador de levante de el gato ....se ajusta en la fabrica y no hay que tocarlo porque puede quedar mal ajustado el gato y es muy peligroso....

I've attached the tube for pumping the trolley jack directly to it by using electrical installation pipe clips, made from plastic. I think you can also use these tool holders, shaped like an open-ended bonbon. Just as a suggestion :)
