30 Years Ago - August 3rd 1994 - My Grandfather's 72nd Birthday

If anyone is interested, I have an audio tape recording uploaded on my channel of my Grandfather in this video talking about his early life in rural Canada. It was recorded and the interview conducted by his daughter for a school project in 1974/75. The tape then lay dormant for 48 years until I digitized it. It is a very cool listen and intimate look on how life was back then and how he came to live in Vancouver, BC and Richmond, BC. He was a great man with a love of family, the earth and gardening. No, we never did get a dog. And if it weren't for this video proof, I would never even had known that we were even considering getting one because we already had 2 cats. One of the cats is a famous cat. KZbin Search: Big Bullseye Tabby Cat Meowing to see him in the year 2000 in all his glory. His name was Dickie, or MooMoo. In the video here, you can hear someone asking about Dickie being accepting of a dog. And my Dad says something in the background to the effect of "No, he wouldn't be accepting, I've seen it." That's because my Dad got a Blue Healer puppy in 1990 and brought him over to my house on the very first day he had him and Dickie infamously scratched his eye very, very badly upon meeting him. There are also videos of the Blue Healer, Cobber, on my channel, one very recently uploaded 30 years ago to the day. He was a crazy, deaf from birth dog. Thanks for viewing! He grew up to be 6 foot 3 200lbs and doesnt easily fit inside the drivers seat of the specific 1982 year that is his favourite. But he is only 44 and there is time for a mid life crisis purchase if needed.

Is he still alive today?

@Mrd9960 No. He passed away 2 years later in 1996. His wife, Mary can be seen in the video and she is still alive at age 101 going on 102!!!! She is my last serving grandparent. Thanks for viewing!!
