I just remember just loving going to the skate shop to just look at all the new decks that were coming out. Santa Cruz boards were just so fun to look at. Birthdays, Christmas, doing whatever to save up money for that next deck or wheels or whatever. That was kind of the full experience of skateboarding back then. Then the ollie changed everything.
