30 Years of Varnish Restored! - Two Sons Sailing Episode 12

One of the first projects on the Seaward, I disassemble and restore the top to the cooler. It's splitting apart, and has years and years of oxidized varnish build up. It's my first time varnishing as part of a restoration, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

What specific varnish did you use? How many coats? Did you sand between coats and with what/grit? Would that work on exterior teak on a sailboat?
