Yea not the ammo or gun fault they didn't adjust the gas block for the q in beginning I assume but the Q Definitely more quiet imo

It's a home-built gun, and I had the gas setting set to the Winchester and Remington .300blk subs I use. This was the first time shooting Hornady subs.

Badger is quieter but like all of them it's picky . That's why I have the ghetto blaster

It doesn't like to run dirty either. Just before filming it wouldn't go into battery due to a fouled chamber.

Nope, just that one shown, but in a 14.5in 5.56 configuration. It was a bit gassy from what I remember.

It was just that Hornady ammo. All other subs I shoot (Winchester, Fiocchi and Remington) run just fine. I'm not sure why this Hornady A-Max stuff has so much less power. Even the Hornady 190gr Sub-X even runs great.

Good to know. I think they're loaded pretty soft. Any other subs I've ran have been just fine at that gas setting.

Wondering if those are 208 reloads? Because I use that same ammo all the time without any issues.

They were factory Hornady Black loads. Maybe it was a bad lot, but it's been the only subsonic load that hasn't cycled. The 190gr SubX runs great.

Did you use the Aero gas block?

I used the Q gas block that comes with the Q barrel.

@@joesrcool oh okay, I ‘m looking into building one my self just a quick run down of the build. You have the Q HB barrel, and hand rail, with aero enchaned upper and lower, radian charging handle and magpul k grip anything else I ‘m missing outside of the “stock” “brace”?
