The scorpion was never poisonous it's venomous. But if you have any ulcers or cuts/sores in your mouth the venom can infect/kill you. I think it's protein based though so if you cook it enough it should be fine either way

As far as the TV show goes, I think the reason it didn't make it was because 'they' sucked all the 'flavor' out of it. If they'd just let you be YOU it would have gone over much better with the audience, exactly like your present 'home grown' production does. I'm sure you've read many times in the comments that 'they' should give you your own show, and yes it's true; but they would have to let you have more 'creative control' of it.... But of course 'they' always think they know better.... In the end you've proved that you're better off doing your own thing...

That show seemed very tofu without sauce (lacking flavor) Your show has so many layers, food, culture, humor, and soul. Glad you didn’t go back in time as TV is so outdated, who has time for that? Dude, that seafood combo meal looked incredible. Definitely going to make a beeline down there when I get to Florida. Thank you for sharing it. Travel Channel or whoever past on the show, stupid move. The good thing is, you don’t have to make 2000 or $5000 an episode, if even that. You can make the majority of your profits and split them up between your staff. Gives you much more freedom and you don’t have to be under of the thumb of whoever the hell is running the network at the time. Bless you my friend, I truly appreciate watching. If you get up to Ocean City Maryland, I’d love to take you to different incredible restaurants around the area.

No, that show was never going be as entertaining and weighty as BEFRS. If they were scripting your decisions from the jump, they were woefully misguided by not understanding that *you* were the selling point. I mean....otherwise, they could have had _any_ host. Travel and Food Channel are over-saturated with kind of good ideas. (Hah-hah....6:02 - The pig stomach is *literally* hogmaw. I would call the Amish dish "stuffed hogmaw".
