Yeah it's been a funny year out in France fella. Been over three times and tough each one. I would say not to switch spots too much, when your there for a week. Pick umm and stick to unm and wait. It normally comes good mid to late on. Or look to move a rod late in the week if your still struggling. Dotting bait across different spots always goes against you. As does filling it in thinking it will increase your chance of umm getting onto it. Fish like you would in UK and build the swim as you get action. I like using bait don't get me wrong. Always take 50 to 100kg with me depending on venue. But pace what goes in, and you can always bring it back. But hopefully now you've been once the bugs bitten and you'll be out again in the future🤞 Be good to see the second part and hopeyour luck changes. Great clothing Darren was wearing as well😉

Great watch so far mate - looking forward to see you get your rewards! Avoid the ferry mate - tunnel every time for me and it’s not that much more expensive. Looks a lovely little venue for 2 anglers 🎣👍🏼
@MrCarpking71Ай бұрын
@SpecialistBlanker cheers buddy. Ferry for us where we was was all about minimising the driving and toll roads, from st- malo it was only 90 minutes with no tolls, tunnel would of been 5-6hours drive and toll roads too! But yeah if the ferry crossing is rough like b4 then think is rather have the longer drive! 🤢😂😂

Fantastic blog as ever…a little tip regards the drone, for more ‘professional’ looking shots don’t move the gimbal whilst flying it makes for a much more pleasing shot 👌🏼🎣😎

Good trip mate but one thing do you ever lead up before putting your rod out with your boat bud? That’s the problem using Fluoro rigs I find if you don’t and no it’s 100% solid your rig could be stuck up in the air at a weird angle unless fishing a helicopter, that’s why I always use something to check the bottom first
@MrCarpking71Ай бұрын
@Rich-bp3wi thanks. We relied on the owners information that the spots we was fishing was clear! We certainly wasn't bringing back any debris or weed or anything you could call an issue to rig presentation so it seems the owners info was good! 👍🏻👍🏻

The problem with France is that you are literally starting a session on the back of the last anglers who filled in a certain spot. You start filling in other spots and the fish just move around the lake day by day. From anglers I speak to fishing France, the reason they take 70kg of boilies is that they fill it in, wait, and hope. Seems an expensive way of catching to me, but I guess one fish could change all that. Love the video mate

if you could go back ,i'm sure you would of done better starting with a lot less bait.It's the common problem with lakes that everyone does.
@MrCarpking71Ай бұрын
@jasonmcbride3916 for the size of stock there I don't feel we over baited at all fella. Slow fishing was purely down to conditions we had!
